    A Company of Hope, People with Faith, With a Heart to Love

    Disaster relief contribution by ZAGRO and Agsin Myanmar to flooded regions

    The heavy downpour in August has resulted in 11 regions and states across Myanmar to be inundated with flood affected many of the farmers.In fact, it was one of the worst they have dealt with.Their livelihoods were at stake, crops and food source were threatened by the brutal flood situations. Myanmar is highly susceptible to climate change and extreme weather conditions, ranks among the top three countries most affected by weather related events according to the Global Climate Risk Index.

    Paddy fields stretching from the edge of the village were engulfed. Farmers were devastated as it would be years before they could be planted with rice again, said ZawZaw, a 45-year-old farmer.

    In light of the flood, our Sales representative, Ye HtetNaing visited the farmers that were affected. Disaster relief contributions were handed out to the farmers in the flooded regions.

     

  • Swine Management & Capacity Building – Kenya

    Swine Management & Capacity Building – Kenya

    Various activities were conducted by ZAGRO team and its importer partner Ultravetis in Kenya. ZAGRO was represented by Dr Calvin Kodongo based on Kenya and Dr Hary Hartantyo from Singapore.

     

    The activities focused on strategic planning and capacity building of ZAGRO products portfolio and corporate initiatives. Activities were conducted throughout Kenya, with meetings in Mombassa and in the vicinity of the capital, Nairobi.

    A swine management-focused seminar was also conducted to address Swine management for commercial farmers, and special focus was given on Swine Nutrition Biosecurity using ZAGRO Farm Hygiene Range. Follow-up activities such as Farm Hygiene demos are continuously being conducted as follow-up action by the local team in Kenya. This initiative is timely with the sporadic outbreak of african swine fever that is now a global challenge with no known treatment to date

    Indo-Livestock 2018 Expo & Forum

    ZAGRO has recently participated in the INDO-LIVESTOCK 2018 Expo and Forum held at the Jakarta Convention Center from 4 – 6 July. This event was the 13th Indonesia’s No.1 Livestock, Feed, Dairy, and Fisheries Industry Show, and ZAGRO last attended the event back in 2016.

    Over the 3-days event, the ZAGRO team managed to speak with existing and new distributors as well as guests, updating everyone with what we can offer as an Animal Health solutions provider with a wide portfolio of products. ZAGRO wishes to express our appreciation and gratitude to all the visitors, customers & exhibitors who visited our booth during the event.

    International Farmers Summit Philippines

    ZAGRO Corporation participated in The International Farmers Summit Philippines, the largest and most esteemed Agriculture Exhibition and Forum in the country. It was held last February 21-23, 2018 at SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

    This event is focused on the Animal Industry, from animal nutrition, to animal health to genetics and equipments.  ZAGRO Corporation, with its aim to provide agrisolutions to farmers showcased its Farm Hygiene Products, Phytosulotion Range, Zagrosol Range, Zagrovit E-50 and Zagrovit Biotin 2%.  The Farm Hygiene range aims to guide the farmers on effective way of biosecurity.  Phytosolution range is the answer to a greener way of farming. Zagrosol range is the best supplements to counter the negative effects of stress to animals. Both Zagrovit E-50 and Biotin 2% are key vitamins needed by the animals especially on breeder stage for optimum performance.

    The event was a successful one with thousands of visitors from small scale farmers to big integrator companies. Positive interactions were made by the company to existing and potential customers with its aim to provide the best solutions to different farm and feedmill situations.

  • CAC 2017, China

    For the first time in the history of ZAGRO, we participated in the world largest agrochemical trade platform this year 2017. With countries like China, Australia, Europe, India and Singapore attending the trade show. This is a milestone worth celebrating for Zagro.

    Adhering to Zagro’s global vision in mapping ourselves in the world map, opening doors to more business, this can be seen as an aggressive expansion for Zagro crop care. Zagro aims to be one of the largest suppliers for agriculture industry.

    The annual CAC three day trade event held from 1 – 3 March 2017 has attracted over 30000 visitors along with 1336 exhibitors on board. Over the course of 3 days, ZAGRO has seized the opportunity of CAC 2017 to do an all-round publicity for the company.

    We manage to meet our suppliers and customers face to face, exchanging first hand market information such as updates on the market trends, requirements, new products and sales plan for the remaining 2017 and forecast on 2018. It was a truly valuable and beneficial experience for the ZAGRO crop care team and we look forward to attending more of such events.
